AllSync Licensing Model
By acquiring an AllSync license, you receive the right of use according to the conditions of the license agreement.License Quantity
At least one license is required for each installation and each user, which allows data transfer between two devices with different IP addresses. A device can be, for example, a computer or a NAS drive on the network. For every additional data transfer to another device with its own IP address, the license quantity must be increased by one.Examples:
- Data transfer between 2 devices with different IP addresses = 1 license
- Data transfer between 3 devices with different IP addresses = 2 licenses
- Data transfer between 4 devices with different IP addresses = 3 licenses
- ...
The license quantity used since the start of AllSync is displayed in the log after each copy operation. The internal license count is reset every time AllSync is restarted.
Private or business use?
The Home Edition may only be used by private individuals on privately used computers for purely private purposes. Use in companies, by self-employed individuals, freelancers, government agencies, associations, or in other commercial, educational, or institutional contexts is not permitted. For these areas of application, a license for the Professional or Business Edition must be acquired.Issuance of License Data
- For private individuals, the license is issued to the first and last name of the user.
Example: John Doe - For a company or organization, the name of the licensee is issued as follows:
- Company Name City
