AllSync 4 Manual ➝ Getting Started

Important Notes on Using AllSync

  • Do not use original data when familiarizing yourself with AllSync settings or performing copy tests. Instead, use test data to avoid unintentional data loss.
  • Do not start a direct copy operation after making changes to the profile properties. Always create a copy preview first to review the effects of your changes.
  • Enable the option 'Move files and folders to a backup folder' under Data Protection. This ensures that deleted or overwritten data can be recovered if needed.
  • If the source or destination folder is located on a network, it is strongly recommended to enable the option 'Check accessibility of source and destination folders'. This prevents data loss due to inaccessible network paths.
